I’ve had really quite a good week, during which:
- I did a social thing without freaking out
Yup, I dressed up and drove myself to River Feast at the Burnett River and waited to meet a friend – all without having an anxiety attack. A little victory, but a victory nonetheless. River Feast had a lovely relaxed atmosphere and I’m glad I went.
- I met up with a pinup friend to take blog post photos
Miss Milla Cherry was visiting town for the weekend, so we decided to spend an hour or two on Sunday morning taking blog photos at the beach. We started early to try to avoid the heat, but ended up having to battle a decent wind instead! And I got sunburnt – boo. But it was a good morning, which we ended by having cold drinks and homemade gelato at the Dutch Windmill
- I vegged out with a friend watching movies
Nothing special, just a nice, relaxed evening watching DVDs with a very dear friend – it left me feeling rejuvenated and cared for 🙂
- I bought the fabric and notions for my next two sewing projects
There’s a range by a lady called Gertie, who specialises in patterns and fabrics for retro sewing projects. I was lucky to get two lots of fabric, both marked down from $20 a metre to just $6 a metre, and perfect for making pretty nighties.
- I enrolled in my uni classes for Term One
This term I’m taking classes such as Terrestrial Botany and Microbiology. Wish me luck! This should be my second last term of uni.
What has been enjoyable in your week?
