This week’s pretty list is based around two colours: rose and gold.
The first thing on my pretty list is the brooch that inspired the whole list: Lip Service by Erstwilder. At AU$34.95, it’s an affordable way to make any outfit a little more special. Made of beautiful resins with multidimensional sheen, it’s a great quality item.
The perfect gold and rose coloured dress comes to us care of Lady Vintage London. The Charlotte dress in antique rose has a scooped neckline, hidden pockets, a 1950s flared skirt and a self tie belt. At AU$96.67, it’s a mid priced item that is good quality, with a well thought out design.
To add a little more gold to your outfit, try the Floozy bag by Sourpuss. Available from Ms Katt’s Kustom House for AU$65, the Floozy comes in a range of colourways including black with gold bow. This bag is just the right size to be your “every day carry”.
If you’re in the mood for a wiggle skirt rather than a circle skirt style, you could try the beautiful Vivien of Holloway pencil skirt in Donegal Bronze, which is a lovely, golden bronze pencil skirt with a high waist and back button. Made of a wool, acrylic and polyester mix, this pencil skirt can be dressed up or down to suit your mood. At UK 59 pounds (about AU$125 at current exchange rates), it’s a high quality product at a reasonable price and is an item that will last and last.
Finally, you need a rose coloured lipstick to match your rose coloured lipstick brooch! Previously reviewed by Vera Gin Vintage, the Australis Velourlips range are cheap and very cheerful, at AU$10.49 each. In the newly expanded colour range you can find such perfect shades as the rosy red Bar-tha-lona and the rosy pink Mal-i-boo.
Do you have a favourite colour combination for spring?
I love that Erstwilder lipstick brooch and that dress, would look so good on you darl! xo
