Hello everyone! It’s a beautiful (though slightly windy) day here in Queensland, and I’ve been inspired by the gorgeous, delicious red fruit grown locally – yup, today’s pretty list is focusing on strawberries 🙂
I’ve been wearing a lot of Collectif lately, and one item that I’d love to add to my wardrobe is the Ginger Strawberry Print Wing Bust Dress. Usually 65 UK pounds, it’s currently on sale for 32.50 pounds (or, about AU$70 at the current exchange rate).
It has multi-way straps and a sweetheart neckline, plus a classic wing bust that can be worn folded up or down. An elasticated panel at the back makes this an easy dress in which to get a perfect fit. This dress comes in Collectif’s standard size range of UK 6-22, though sizes are selling out fast.
Also from the UK is this fab strawberry necklace from Punky Pins. For 12 UK p
ounds (about AU$26), this is a cute way to get
just a little bit of strawberry in your life 🙂 They also have a variety of other fruit styles, such as cherries and orange slices, if you want a whole fruit salad of cute necklaces.
If you’re willing to wait for your items to come from China, you can get some grea
t deals buying from Ali Express, such as this very cute wicker strawberry handbag, for just US$18 (AU$25.50). With a fruit print interior lining and a long strap, it’s functional as well as being an outfit focus point.
If you’re a pink sort of girl, Steady Clothing has the strawberry skirt for you – this pretty little skirt has an all over print of strawberries on a pink background, with red ribbon contrast. On sale at
Aussie seller Gwynnies at the moment for just AU$45, it has a lovely springtime feel to it. Some sizesare already sold out, so if you want one, you’dbetter get in quick!
Also at Gwynnies is this subtly strawberry Voodoo Vixen cardigan – and yes, it’s on sale too, at just AU$39. I can speak from experience that Voodoo Vixen cardis are lovely and soft and have a good quality feel to them, so this is a great buy.
And finally for today’s list, we can’t forget the actual fruit that started it all. Some of the best fruit is coming from one of my local suppliers, SSS Strawberries. The fruit is perfect and sweet and I can’t get enough of them, especially at the current low prices! You can even pick your own at the farm, or buy pre-picked produce at the farm gate. Keeping it local is great!
